About Us
We are a group of people excited to see how God is working in Korea. Recently, there are many sad and difficult stories and images we have of the area from the media and other outlets, and it’s so easy to get caught up in the many differences that come between us. However, we want approach the country of North Korea, the people, and ministry through the eyes of the Father God. With this in mind, we hope to find ways to actively be a part of the great work of salvation and reconciliation the Father is doing in the land and invite and encourage you, our brothers and sisters in Christ to join us.
One of our main goals here at the Joshua Center is to mobilize this next generation of believers to hope in and get involved with what the Lord in and for Korea. In the Old Testament, God raised up Joshua to bring the believers into the Promised Land and discover God’s Kingdom on Earth as they were expectantly waiting for His eternal kingdom to come. Just like this, we are excited for the Lord to raise up the next generation, the “Joshua Generation” to bring God’s kingdom to Earth, especially here in Korea.
In the logo for the Joshua Center, the “O” is filled with water, just as it’s our hope to use this place and organization to be an oasis for people, especially our North Korean brothers and sisters. Our desire is to be a place where people can find an oasis amidst the wicked and crooked world, a place or rest, refreshment, and renewal.
